“Contraception”  is Murder, a weak, pathetic response to baby murder, is sent out at least once a month.  If the gestapo hasn’t jailed you for defending the innocent realistically, you either have to tell me you want it or go to the website.  Emails are free but snail-mail is free only for PFCs, a grand for others.

Because I believe we should examine every legitimate means, including force, in our attempt to protect those being tortured to death, I want to hear from people who’ve been forceful and from those who defend them.  I’d also like to hear from those who oppose the prolife use of force and call it violence.

See the October newsletter for the first attack on Cardinal Dolan.  Here’s the second:

When His Eminence Timothy Cardinal Dolan was installed in St. Patrick Cathedral as archbishop of New York a few years ago, we watched the magnificent liturgical celebration. There were cardinals, archbishops, bishops, priests, and thousands of faithful. That day I think every soul was brimming with joyous expectation and hope (as I was) that Almighty God had sent us that shepherd robust with the strength and the vision modeled after the Good Shepherd Himself, Our Lord Jesus Christ.
We all looked up to this shepherd, Dolan, as the one who might be the savior of sin city itself, New York. New York, the abortion capital of the world, where more of God's precious infants are murdered in the womb than anywhere else on earth.
When our great white hope, Dolan, mounted the pulpit in St. Patrick's Cathedral to deliver his sermon, I listened with an awed fervor. He started with a cute little funny, as is his wont (so we discovered over the years). He quipped that he had to move along with his talk, because his mother, sitting in the first row, was somewhat anxious. She wanted to get to a special sale in Macy's.
I thought that a sweet little note, and I chuckled. But, following him over the years, it seems he is more interested in his little jokes than he is in the mammoth task of shepherding lost souls in sin city and elsewhere, who are heading toward hell.
That great day in the grandiose St. Patrick's Cathedral, that glorious monument dripping with the history of stalwart and saintly churchmen, our nouveau shepherd reached the point in his sermon where he declared in bombastic Irish tones,".. .and Holy Mother Church, when She sees Her innocent babies threatened in the womb, like a great momma bear, She raises up high on Her legs to protect and defend the babies!”
Many faithful in the pews started to clap. More joined in, and a crescendo of applause rose stronger and stronger from thousands. Soon every soul was on his feet, with lengthy clapping expressing enthusiastic approval of this shepherd's guarantee to fight for the precious unborn. The TV camera panned the entire congregation. The only despicable listeners sitting with hands in lap, chagrin faces, were the politicians in the front, right under the nose of the pulpit: Mayor Bloomberg, then Senator Hilary Clinton, et al.

Well, today our great white hero, Dolan himself, seems forgetful of what the red color signifies in the new cardinal robes he wears. The red indicates his professed willingness to shed his blood to witness Jesus Christ, and Him Crucified. Dolan nowadays appears enamored of those political types who sat under his nose that day at St. Patrick's Cathedral.
He allowed the New York State halls of government to enshrine with legitimacy and favor the socially destructive sin of sodomy without the fight he bragged about in that sermon. When they were preparing to vote on this ugly sin in 2011, the New York Times reporter was told by Dolan's spokesperson, "The archbishop will have no comment at this time."
When the final count was taking place in 2012, the New York bishops went to Albany. They had lunch with Gov. Cuomo, a "catholic" of the Judas stripe. When all emerged, Bishop Kmiec of Buffalo, told reporters, "Oh, it was a delightful luncheon!”
“Everyone was very cordial." Bishop Hubbard said (about the sodom vote). "This is a private matter, between two people."
We have every right to judge from Hubbard's legacy that he is a flat-out homosexual advocate. It would be a safe wager that Cardinal Dolan pitched a few jokes at that luncheon. There you have the hierarchy of New York State.
And this is why the applause in St. Patrick's Cathedral on that day of Dolan's installation was so intense. The faithful knew that many of our most reverend bishops are more like Lord Fauntleroy than Jesus Christ and Him crucified. Dolan's braggadocio about "momma-bear" had them mesmerized (as I was) into thinking he was the real thing.
Of late, our dear "President" Obama is making a fool of Cardinal Dolan, as if he were not making a fool of himself enough without Obama.  In the wake of the HHS mandate, Obama called a meeting with Dolan in the Oval Office. When Dolan came out, he waved off the reporters, "We agreed that we would not reveal anything of the discussion." Whom does Dolan represent? He was made a fool by acceding to Obama's plan to shut him up.
Then we had the Democrat Convention. Dolan first volunteered to give a benediction. The democrats refused. Then, they recanted, and said yes. How can any apostle of Jesus Christ with red robes signifying he would shed his blood rather than deny Christ, how can he grace and bless an assembly where the very mention of God is verboten, where murder of the unborn, sodomy, contraception and every evil imaginable were celebrated?
Here was the shepherd's chance to rebuke that crowd in the grip of satan, as his predecessor among the apostles, St. Paul, would have done. But, he knew that if he told them the whole truth which God wants them to hear, they would detest him. Evidently our smiling teddy bear could not face their derision.
The basic fact is that our great white hero with the red hat, like many of his episcopal colleagues, seems not to realize himself the depth of the sins he is duty-bound to denounce. At Pentecost, Our Lord Jesus sent the apostles out, now filled with the Holy Spirit, "to convince the world of sin, of justice..." (Jn. 16:8).  Today, our world suffers the desperate condition in that the successors of the apostles themselves need to be "convinced of sin.. "  St. Paul wrote his letters while chained in prison.
Our modern apostles consider their "cordial luncheon" with the likes of Cuomo fills the bill! A deceptive spirit manipulates these bishops, spoiled brats in their honor and splendor. They are sifted like wheat. Our Lord directed us to the remedy for such spirit. "This kind can be cast out only by prayer and fasting."
And now the Al Smith dinner! It is proof that Dolan does not realize the depth of the sin of child murder. He wants his buddies in New York to welcome, to joke and banter, with the chief executive who is the worst promoter of the ocean of innocent blood this country has ever seen.
To Dolan, the babies' blood is cheap. After all, "President" Obama must be entertained. See what I mean about not recognizing the depth of the evil? Credit Obama with every human trickery and skill in proposing error. Cardinal Dolan's legitimizing Obama, also legitimizes Obama's program.
We can do our part in following Our Lord's direction about prayer and fasting. Let's get out there on our knees with the Rosary at the site of the killing. Our Blessed Lady gave us the same direction at Lourdes and Fatima. Prayer and penance. Only Almighty God can convert our feckless and sinful culture.

I disagree with Fr. John Murphy here even though his is the most powerful prolife Catholic clerical voice in the USA.
I think those politicians showed more guts than the gang that stood and clapped.  (It must kill a guy like Bloomberg to be in the minority.)
Here’s why they stood and clapped (and I would have been one of them): “Momma Bear is gonna do it for us.  She will let us continue to live in comfort. What a relief. Takes us right off the hook.”
And now, four years later, when torturing babies to death has become even more widespread,  we can blame Momma.
If we will admit that each one of us outside of prison is responsible for this giant holocaust, and not some pope, bishop, priest, preacher, or politician, we will have moved a step closer to its end.

  (I’m not there yet.)

A PRAYERFUL CALL TO ACTION:

Well, about 48% of the country is unhappy right now. Consider me one of them.

Like many, I’ve been invested in this election. Read numerous stories and blogs on the Internet. Followed the debates. Talked about it a lot. Prayed. Voted. And yet the same guy who was elected President four years ago is the same guy who got voted in today. Once again he’s talking about “hope” in front of a cheering Chicago audience. After the speech they played Bruce Springsteen’s “We Take Care Of Our Own.”

I would have rather had an election result that ended with Taylor Swift’s “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together.”

I’m not the only one who prayed and fasted for this day. At Church every Sunday (and daily) we’ve been praying for our country and for the election. Though the prayers never specifically said, “We pray Mitt Romney wins,” that seemed like an easy connection to make. We prayed for a president that respects the dignity of the unborn. We prayed for a president that respects religious freedom.

And yet we now have a president who seems not to care about either of those two important issues. He is more concerned with the rights of same sex couples to be married than the rights of unborn children to live. He is more concerned with the “rights” to free contraceptives than the rights of religious freedom.

So… were our prayers unanswered? Our novenas wasted? On the surface, it seems to be that way.

But God isn’t done yet. He just rarely answers prayers the way we think He will.

God isn’t into democracy. Jesus said, “Follow me,” not, “vote for me.” Though we might feel that our prayers for the election weren’t heard, God is bigger than an election. He’s about saving souls and changing hearts.

Abortions in this country are down. Why? Because abortion centers are closing due to movements such as “40 Days for Life.” This is the most pro-life generation the country has ever seen. Hearts are changing. That’s the work of God, not man. Man can create a law to make something “legal” or “illegal.” But only God makes things “right” or “wrong.” The law is external, the Spirit is internal. God is more concerned about the heart.

Same-sex marriage? Yes, it’s disappointing that same sex marriage won a popular vote in Maine and Maryland. Proponents say this is the beginning of a national trend (as if the 30 previous states who voted against same sex marriage don’t matter.) That may be true. But I think we need to do better in talking about what marriage really is. We’ve been hoping for a vote to “protect marriage,” but perhaps we’ve been too focused in “out-voting” the issue than explaining it. Now we have to be more articulate. I can’t see that as a bad thing.

Religious freedom? That battle is far from over. More lawsuits have been leveled toward the Federal Government on this matter than any other in American history, and most of lower court results have been respecting religious rights. Obama’s reelection doesn’t make the HHS mandate a slam dunk, though that would have been nice—just as it would have been a non-issue if Obamacare was flipped by the Supreme Court. But it seems we’re just not going to get any short cuts on this: the issue of religious freedom will need to be directly addressed by the Supreme Court. And that could be a great thing.

One “positive” thing you can say about Obama is that he’s done more to unite the Catholic Church in America than anyone in the past 50 years. He got every Catholic bishop to stand against him. He also did a lot to unite the Christian Church—remember Mike Huckabee saying, “Today, I’m Catholic!” Heck, he even got evangelical Christians to back a Mormon for president.

If we had woken up this morning with the headline, “Romney is the President,” we might have gone back to sleep feeling secure in one nation under God. We could be thankful that this HHS nonsense is over and we can go back to our lives. We could be hopeful that abortions would be reduced t4hanks to government intervention. That’s how I hoped to start the day.

But God does not want us asleep. He wants us awake. He wants us to do the same thing we’ve been doing: pray, work, and fast for our country.

If we thought we could wake up and feel safe about these issues because Romney got elected then we'd be as foolish as those on the other side of these issues who think Obama is the “savior.” We can’t depend on the government for our spiritual “welfare.” We’ve got to go out and proclaim God’s truth with our lips and share His love from our hearts.

I’m bummed that Obama won. I know a lot of people who worked really hard during this election and I can’t imagine how devastated they feel: any time you spend work on a “failed” effort it’s always heart-breaking.

But I still have hope, and not the “hope” that Obama talked about to a cheering crowd this morning. His “hope” was optimism based on the human spirit; our hope is rooted in Jesus Christ and in His saving power. The hope Obama offered four years ago hasn’t materialized, but our hope in Christ is “an anchor for the soul, firm and secure” (Heb 6:19.)

The re-election of Barack Obama means that Christians in the United States have to stay united and actively proclaim the truth of the Gospel if we are to protect the values we believe were given to us from God. It means we have to pray more, work harder, and be more active in sharing our faith. If we do that, it would be a more important “result” than any political office we could ever vote for.

I’ll end with what we prayed in Mass this morning: ”The Lord is my light and my salvation, whom shall I fear? The Lord is my life’s refuge; of whom should I be afraid?” (Psalm 27:1)

Occasionaly I omit the author’s name when I post his piece.  Then I forget.

Revisiting some e-mail I hadn't opened. God bless Patte Smith; she is absolutely correct that conviction of sin, not pursuing "victimhood" is what saves. True victims don't need to repent, at least for the injuries inflicted by an assailant. But these murderous women are the last bastion of rescue for their Unborn child.
Will the Church hear Patte's message and repent of characterizing such women as victims?
Not a chance; they've built up ministries on that false premise. (We've all heard that song, "If you want to trash your ministry, go ahead, but we aren't going to trash ours!")
Do I think all "CPC" type ministries should cease and desist? No. The moral laws of Scripture apply to all, yet sin blinds the best of men and women. There are still women who need help and who may turn to Christ; they do not need to be wooed with the message that they are helpless victims; they need to hear the Gospel and see their sin in light of a holy, fearful, yet forgiving God. If counsel against sin, the need for repentance and salvation in Jesus Christ are not being powerfully emphasized as a person's most urgent need, away with these so-called "ministries." They have outlasted their usefulness.

When does "ministry" become sin? When you place its existence above God's most excellent Truth.

More from Cathy

Some encouraging news.... though only marginally so since "the Church" in America counsels most young couples toward the use of these abortifacient, so-called "birth control" products.
How can we tell the world they must stop aborting their babies when we insist on aborting our own, albeit at a younger age? To kill an unborn child at a gestational age of three days, seven days, seven weeks, or seven months is all the same... It is the same person created in God's image and likeness.
"Render unto Caesar what is his," but don't sacrifice your children through these "contraceptives" and believe God will hold you unaccountable. He is jealous for what is His own.

Non-Catholic Christians like Cathy will eventually force us Catholics to practice what we preach.

Randall Terry, still fighting the good fight:

My Dear Friend, and Faithful Supporter, I ask you to read this letter carefully.
Our worst political nightmare has come true: Barack Obama has been reelected.
But perhaps worse is that he was elected by a people who saw who and what he was: a baby-murdering tyrant…a man at war with marriage…a despot making war on the Church.
Over 50% of Catholics again voted for this evildoer…a man at war with the Catholic Church. Most Catholic bishops said NOTHING to stop his reelection. NYC Cardinal Dolan laughed and smiled with Obama at the Al Smith banquet just weeks before the election…giving permission for Catholics to vote for Obama again.
And again, most evangelical ministers said NOTHING publically. They looked the other way while we are losing the country. The “mega-churches” were silent.” This is truly a time to grieve for our nation. This is a time to mourn the failure of our Christian leaders.
There are not sufficient words to describe how much danger we are in as a nation. Yes, I believe in God’s sovereignty; yes, I believe He still has a plan for us. But His Sovereignty and Divine Plan will now certainly involved Divine retribution for our “national sins.” He will require from us the blood that has been shed…innocent blood crying for His Justice.

What Must We Do? We Must Uphold God’s Law.
We Must Resist Evil.

We resist. We resist – with all our hearts, publically, and without apology – the evils that have prevailed at this moment in time. We refuse to surrender.
We denounce. We denounce – in the clearest terms possible – the evil of those at war with God’s Laws that brought us to this place. We refuse to surrender.
We confront. We confront – with charity, but without equivocation – the treachery in the Church and “tax-exempt ministries” that allowed this evil to triumph. We refuse to surrender.
We prepare. We prepare – not in fear, but in wisdom – for the battles and hardships and persecutions that now surely await us. And we refuse to surrender.
We build. We build coalitions – with individuals, groups, and organizations – which are willing to sacrifice, and remain true to God and human life, even in the darkest of hours.
We fight. We fight – without surrender – for Life and Truth and Justice according to the Laws of God and the religion of Jesus Christ, even against incredible odds.
We must reach deep into our faith…to think Biblically about strategy and principles of resisting evil. Now is the time to study the heroes and saints of other dark hours who prevailed against all odds; to journey through history from Justin Martyr in ancient Rome to Winston Churchill and the defeat of the Nazis…from St. Patrick fighting paganism and slavery in Ireland to William Lloyd Garrison and William Wilberforce defeating slavery in America and England.

“Fear Not…I Have Overcome the World”

“Fear not.” Over and over Jesus exhorted his apostles and followers: “Fear not.” He knows that in times like these – times that try men’s souls – we are prone to fear.
He warns and comforts us with these words: “In the world, you will have tribulation, but be of good cheer: I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33)
This passage does NOT mean that we won’t have hardship and strife; we surely will. It means (among other things) that even if we have to lay down our lives in the service of Christ and man, Christ has conquered death. We know that His kingdom will ultimately prevail over the evils and evildoers that mar our world, our nation, and our lives. Our mission is to boldly proclaim His Laws, His rules, His demands of our nation.
Our duty is to FIGHT for His Laws in the public square. Men, angels and demons must see and hear us in the fight. We must publically and politically and rhetorically and philosophically resist the murder of babies, the assault on marriage, the crushing of our God-given religious freedoms, and the enslavement of our children to a socialist debt.
We are God’s hands and feet in this world. If the hungry are to be fed, the naked clothed, and babies to be protected from the assassin’s knife, it must happen through us.
Each of us have different roles to play…different giftings…different spheres of influence where we can resist evil, defend the innocent, fight for Justice, and proclaim God’s Holy Truth. Our mission is to be faithful in our individual and familial spheres, and not look for someone else to fight the battles God has given to us.

My Commitment to You: Our Team Will Continue Fighting, and…
We Will Recruit and Train Others to Fight for Life and Liberty.

My mailbox – and probably yours – is full of fundraising letters saying: “You have a duty to fight! The way for YOU to fight is to send us money!!! We’ll do the fighting for you!!! All you need to do to serve God and to SAVE AMERICA is send us your money!!!” (Etc.)
This is hard for some to hear, but that mentality is part of the reason why we are in the mess we are in. We have largely LOST the sense of “citizen duty” and “citizen warrior.”
I cannot play those games. We CANNOT depend on the pro-life or religious “establishment.”
We have to recruit, train, and deploy a new generation of citizen warriors. And we must “knock the rust” off of good men and women and get them into the fight.
I have spent the last four years recruiting and training a team of warriors to fight in our nations capitol; men and women who are recruiting and training others as well. You have seen them fight.
In addition, I spent the last two years running for President, and also recruiting, training, and mobilizing other candidates to run for office. We ended up having 11 federal campaigns. Those 11 campaigns ran TV ads showing aborted babies, and warning Christians: “If you vote for Obama, you enable him to murder babies and attack the Church. If you do so, you will share in the guilt of his crimes, and have blood on your hands.”
Sadly, we failed in our hopes of unseating Obama. However, we did run over 800 TV ads that reached all or part of 33 states. This is the first time such an effort has been undertaken in 40 years.
My commitment is to continue recruiting, training, and mobilizing new warriors for as long as God gives me strength. We will uphold God’s Laws, fight for the babies, and train others from coast to coast to fight to get our country back into the hands of righteous people.

Pray for us please, and perhaps forward this to any pro-life friend who you think might be interested.
  God be with you.

Neal Horsley begins this neat exchange with a song:

I’m going straight to the top, to the real ruling class in the US of A.   http://youtu.be/28CT58UNYnw

Terry Hughes, "Miss Gatekeeper" stands at the Gates of Hell. Anyone who wants in will get in. But the gates swing only one way.
  Thanks for the reminde.,

Neal,  It’s impossible for me to deny that the baby-boom generation has participated in a sex revolution in this nation. One of the sins I keep returning to think about is my own determination when a young man to convince the females I cared about that uncrossing their legs was the logical expression of love. Were it not for the finished work of Christ Jesus, I could see no way to be forgiven for the part I played in the sexual revolution perverting the meaning of love that is bearing the deadly fruit we see today.

Terry,   Dear Neal:  As you probably know, Billy Sunday was a popular radio evangelist between World Wars I and II. In one radio broadcast, he asked all women in his listening audience to cross their legs. Then he said, "Now the Gates to Hell are closed!"
When has any of us heard that?

I remember running Terry Hughes’ obit here a while ago!  Hell he’s aliver than ever!

Don Harrison wrote this piece recently in the Hampton Roads Magazine:

Soldier of God     A cheerleader for murder, Rev. Donald Spitz says his anti-abortion message is finally getting through.
It isn’t every day that an ordained minister refers to himself as a national terrorist threat. But Reverend Donald Spitz isn’t your ordinary man of the cloth.
“I used to get a lot of media attention when things were hot,” the 65-year-old Pentecostal preacher says. “But ever since the World Trade Center bombing ... I mean, we are small potatoes, chicken feed compared to something like that. So we got kind of pushed aside by the media. I know how media people are. It’s always got to be a new story.”
On this day, that new story would be Virginia’s new abortion clinic regulations and the so-called “war on women” being waged by the McDonnell administration.
“I don’t think they go far enough,” he says of the rules adopted by the Virginia Board of Health in September that would regulate clinics as though they were hospitals. “I personally believe the clinics should be shut down. I don’t think people should be allowed to kill their unborn children, and if they do I think they should be charged just as they would if they killed a born child. There’s no difference.”
Spitz refuses to accept that abortion is legal, that Roe vs. Wade is the law of the land.
“I think it’s an illegal law. The Constitution gives people the right to life, life liberty and the pursuit of happiness, and they are taking the right to life from these children. [Roe vs. Wade] is an unconstitutional law.”
He does think that current state leadership is “better than the other guys ... it’s good to see pro-life politicians do what they should be doing,” but the activist, with a slight speech impediment that turns his Rs into Ws, refuses to go further. “I think that it is wise for me to stay out of politics.”
The street preacher doesn’t affiliate with local Hampton Roads churches either. “I tend to stay away from them like I do the politics. I meet with some now and then but nothing ongoing. It’s because most ministers are interested in growing their churches, getting people in, getting them saved, which is good, but I have to do what I do. My calling is trying to save the children.”

For nearly 20 years, the Federal Bureau of Investigation has been watching Donald Spitz. An FBI document intercepted by The New York Times in 1994 stated that he was one of many involved in “a conspiracy that endeavors to achieve political or social change through activities that involve force or violence.”
“This is a man who advocates the murders of doctors and secretaries,” says Mark Potok, a senior fellow at the Southern Poverty Law Center, a non-profit civil rights group that tracks white supremacists and right wing militants. “He’s not the first person to use the Bible to justify murder, but that is his peculiar interpretation -- that it is OK to kill.”
Being branded a terrorist, an extremist, a Holy man with an unholy mission, doesn’t seem to bother the founder of Pro-Life Virginia. “It’s actually what the bible says would happen, it says you will be persecuted -- I mean, it’s not like they’re killing me, but it’s like they are trying to catch me at something and put me in prison. There isn’t anything to what they are looking for.”
When he first brought his message to Chesapeake 26 years ago, the reverend says that “everybody was against us, including the Christians, most ministers, everywhere. They wouldn’t mention abortion in the pulpit. But now, through time, the last 20 years, there’s been much more acceptance that, yes, these are babies being killed, and it’s an abomination and a horrible thing.”
He claims that his anti-abortion message is becoming more mainstream. “It’s a total attitude change. For awhile, it seemed like we were the only voice out there. But now we have more and more people who are realizing that these children are being killed. We don’t seem so extreme anymore. We seem more normal.”
Spitz is also the mouthpiece and head propagandist for a group called the Army of God, an entity that sometimes seems interchangeable with Pro-Life Virginia. “He runs the Army of God website,” Potok says, adding that this group is much more of a concept than a real organization. “It is comprised of anyone who rises up and murders the abortionists. That’s the basic idea. Once you, as an individual, have done the act, you are a member of the ‘Army of God.’”

This will take me at least another issue to finish, but you’re going to like it in spite of the fact that a killers’ helper writes it.
